Fueling Stanbic IBTC Headquarters expansion led by workspace strategy
Stanbic IBTC, a leading financial institution, aimed to expand its headquarters to accommodate its growing team while enhancing talent retention. Therefore giving us a platform to further drive our mission to bring Silicon Valley to Africa through innovative office design.

"Perhaps a developer could introduce a new perspective to the CTO if there was a chance that they would run into each other at the cafeteria." This statement guided our design philosophy when creating this office. We set out to create spaces that were inclusive, open, and encouraged collaboration amongst cross functional teams. From cafeteria spaces to alternate work areas, the open floor plan design has made such collaborations a reality
20 feet from a whiteboard.
To create this hyper interactive and collaborative space we prioritised creating an environment that encouraged impromptu brainstorming sessions. Now you no longer have to book in advance that one meeting room with a white board, because in this office all the walls are writeable surfaces. In other words, at no point in time would you find yourself more than 20 feet from a whiteboard.

Bringing Silicon Valley to Africa
Stanbic IBTC Bank a leader in the fin-tech space reached out to Spacefinish to help build a space that encourages collaboration, innovation, and creativity. This was an exciting project for us because the location of this space was right in the heart of Yaba, Nigeria's tech-centric brain pool. Therefore giving us a platform to further drive our mission to bring Silicon Valley to Africa through innovative office design.
