Designing a Makerspace for the Next Generation of Innovators
UNDP Nigeria required a workspace strategy and design for a 2,800 sqm innovation hub in Niger State. A makerspace built to equip young people with the infrastructure for design, technology, agriculture, and entrepreneurship. The design had to carry UNDP's global sustainability standards while remaining deeply rooted in Nigerian culture and identity.

1. Spaces organised into public, semi-public, private, and support zones to support simultaneous, multi-user operations.
2. Pitch garage engineered for seamless reconfiguration across exhibition, event, and presentation formats.
3. UNDP's brand palette integrated with natural textures and earthy tones, with cultural identity embedded in the architecture through an outdoor parametric structure inspired by the map of Nigeria.
